Mangakino Area School is a state co-educational school catering for students from Y 1-13. The School is situated on 8.56 hectares of land that includes playing fields, hard surface tennis and netball courts, a full gymnasium and a soon to be built swimming pool. It has a woodtech and foodtech block, a computer suite and library. Academically the school caters for full primary education to NCEA level 2 with Level 3 available. We have a Rumaki Reo Unit on site as well as a preschool REAP Playgroup and a beautifully carved Meeting House. We are surrounded by mountains and forests and are 80 minutes from Hamilton, 45 minutes from Rotorua and Taupo and 30 minutes from Tokoroa.
